Starting August with Butter Pecan Bundt Cake, a delicious southern dessert is a great idea for an energetic day.

Can you believe Summer 2022 is almost over? I get so excited to plan any special event and I am thrilled to share some of my tips and recipes from my summer classes at the Gardendale Library.

“Oceans of possibilities” is this summer’s Library theme at Jefferson County, Alabama. Therefore, I’ve decided to make the theme “Let’s See what we can cook up with a box cake mix” contest.

There are many possibilities when it comes to cooking and entertaining. I love how you can create so many delicious desserts from a cake mix box. Altogether, we had a wonderful time with our contest creations!

The key of this recipe is a very essential ingredient that if we miss we will miss the whole taste guess what?

    For sure its love !

    A Pleasant Encounter

As a food enthusiast, I’m always eager to learn, create and cook new recipes. One morning in Walmart while running errands, I’ve encountered another customer and started talking about baking.

She was so kind for giving me a recipe for a butter pecan cake with frosting that I prepared in my class at the library later on.

Also, you’ll find a copy of the recipe on a cute recipe card which makes the perfect favor for your guest as well.

Why Will You Love This Recipe?

As a matter of fact, who doesn’t like a moist fluffy Bundt cake with a cup of coffee? All it takes is a few ingredients, a bit of mixing, around 45 baking minutes, and lastly a layer of frosting… Et voilà, you got yourself a scrumptious Bundt pecan cake.

Either its snowy or rainy you will enjoy the fluffy Bundt cake that suits every season, just enjoy your time with this incredible taste and quick recipe. Don’t waste your time on complicated recipes. Enjoy the easiness!

Piece of cake (No pun intended)!

Let’s Go Through a few pros

You might think that buying a cake mix box will limit your cooking options. In fact, it’s the other way around, you can add your personal favorite frosting to the mix.

In addition, Bundt cakes are known for their moist texture. So obviously a slice of a moist fluffy cake is worth preparing. Don’t you agree?

Lastly, let’s talk about pecans, the recipe’s stars. This unique nut has a distinctly sweet and buttery flavor. They basically add an incredible touch to the whole mix, especially when it comes to flavors. Yummy!

    Tips and Tricks

Reduce the oil quantity to ½ cup or even cup ¾ if you don’t like super moist cakes.

Grease your cake pan well. Pay extra attention to this step as its crucial for obtaining a solid one-piece cake.

Get creative and create a glaze with pecans.

Go an extra mile and toss the pecans in a flour bowl before adding them to the mixture so they don’t sink and are evenly distributed.

Bring the ingredients to room temperature, especially eggs. This will allow the mixer not to overwork the batter.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use a different frosting?

No, the texture of the coconut pecan goes perfectly with the butter pecan cake mix.

Can I use a smaller amount of oil?

Yes, you can reduce the oil to ½ cup on this cake if it is too moist for you.

Can you use this recipe with a different cake mix?

I haven’t tried it yet, but I am interested in creating a different version of this recipe because it is very moist and good.

How to store Butter Bundt Pecan Cake leftovers?

You have to store Butter Bundt Pecan Cake in a container to ensure that your cake does not dry out. Or you can use a wrap for each slice to prevent drying.

What Will You Need to Make This Recipe?

This might be the simplest, easiest recipe to prepare when craving something sweet. The dry ingredients are available on the supermarkets’ shelves. Consequently, you’re technically halfway there.
