Soft and Chewy Strawberry White Chocolate Blondies
It is so hard to believe summer is coming to an end. It is back to school again. I love strawberries all year long though they are most popular in summer. So, I decided to share a recipe that makes use of strawberries. It is so easy that it can be ready and in the oven in less than 15 minutes.
In fact, I have recently made these white chocolate strawberry blondies. I believe cooking is all about remixing and experimenting with different flavors. They turned out great on the first try and I have been making them ever since.
The simple process of this recipe makes it one of my favorite choices for dessert. I hope you enjoy the mouthwatering taste!
What Are Strawberry White Chocolate Blondies?
Blondies are dense cake squares. In 1986, Fanny Farmer was the first to introduce the blondies in his edition of The Boston Cooking-School Cookbook. At that time, people did not know brownies. Blondies are similar to brownies, but they use white chocolate to bake it instead of cacao.
In fact, blondies are softer than cookies but tougher than cakes. They are also compared to a vanilla sponge cake with white chocolate chips. Many bakers call them white chocolate bars. These delicious confections have a fudgy buttery flavor.
In my recipe, I have used cream cheese and white chocolate chips. You can make some changes. So, you can add condensed milk instead of cheese. If you have extra strawberries, you can add them on the top of the blondies.
You can keep them as a whole. Melt some white chocolate and pour them on the strawberry. It is a great addition to add more taste to your strawberry white chocolate blondies.
Strawberry and white chocolate go together in harmony in these blondies. It is a quick easy dessert for any holiday party. Add it to your reddish Christmas table. These lovely blondies are a great festive treat to bring to friends’ gatherings.
Each dense fudgy square is so scrumptious. So, you will enjoy making them for your family and friends.
Tips and Tricks for Dense Fudgy Strawberry White Chocolate Blondies
First, do not overbake them. If you do, they will turn out hard. You have to take them out of the oven when they seem almost done. As they cool down, they continue to bake.
Second, do not use extra flour or baking powder. If you do, your blondies will be more like a cake. This is because baking powder creates more air into the batter. So, your blondies will look more like a cake.
Third, make sure your batter is not runny. If it does, this means that you added extra liquid. The batter of blondies should be thick and fluffy, but not stiff.

Fourth, the blondies should not be jiggly. If they are, put them back into the oven for a few minutes. You can not take it out unless it has firmed a little.
Fifth, make sure you adjust the oven’s temperature. If your oven is too hot, the outside of the blondies will bake nicely. However, the heat will not get the chance to cook inside of the batter. So, your blondies will stay raw on the inside.
To sum up, it is easy to know when the blondies are ready. They will start to pull away from the edges of the pan. Also, the edges of the blondies will be a light brown. Take it out of the oven and enjoy the stuffy chewy taste with family and friends.
Frequently Asked Questions
If you get greasy blondies, this means that the ingredients where not mixed well. So, the butter oozed out of the mix.
A blondie is also referred to as a cookie bar. But, it is softer than a cookie. At the same time, it is tougher than a cake.
If your blondies turn to be undercooked, you can put it back into the oven even if it cooled down. Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and bake your blondies to your liking.
If you cut the blondies warm, you will get misshaped squares with messy edges. It might also fall apart. So, it is definitely better to wait until it cools down. Then, you cut them into squares of desired sizes.
Blondies can be frozen. First, cut them into squares. Then, put them in airtight containers. They can be frozen for around a week in the fridge. But because they are originally fudgy, they might become a bit moist after thawing.
