The best thing about creating this type of appetizer or snack board is that you can literally put anything on a charcuterie board and surely it will be delicious and appreciated by everyone! Hence, this is the perfect opportunity to try new flavors and new products!

Tips for the Best Chocolate Charcuterie Board:

Drizzle white chocolate on top of the cup and decorate with sprinkles because it helps save time and makes the board a cohesive color palette without the extra work.

Prepare hot chocolate ahead of time on the stovetop or in the slow cooker since this way the guests just have to pour the drink into their cups.

Not serving right away? Surely you can cover it up in plastic wrap to keep it fresh. But it’s best to serve this right away or at most a day after making.

Add a variety of hot chocolate flavor combinations. For example, peppermint + dark chocolate, salted caramel, mocha, cookies & cream are a few ideas to try!

If you want to have a matching theme or make your treats appear handmade, then buy store-bought items like hot cocoa bombs and chocolate spoons.

Add ingredients into bowls and small bowls along with adding mini spoons for serving.

Place the bowls around the board, spreading them apart. Then, add remaining ingredients around the bowls to avoid empty space.

How to Assemble Your Hot Chocolate Charcuterie Board:

At first, find a large cutting board, a large platter or tray, or even a wood strip. Also, you need something large enough to arrange your sweets in a pattern that allows everyone to see all the options.

After that, gather all the ingredients you would like to include on your board. Then, arrange marshmallows and mini hot cocoa bombs around the perimeter of the board.

Next, fill in the spaces with cocoa toppings. For example, I prefer to arrange items in bunches or piles around the edge of the board with highlighted items in the center of the board. Then arrange around the tray in small groupings. But for small ingredients like sprinkles use little bowls or jars.

Finally, serve alongside warm hot cocoa and don’t forget to use a slow cooker or large kettle to keep hot cocoa warm. Also you can just pour steam milk or hot water in a single cup and enjoy your festive drink!
