    Sausage lovers, take notes! This dip checks all boxes! It’s delicious, cheesy, beefy, and a tad spicy. It’s no secret that sausage goes well with cheese. Our Sausage Rotel Dip is packed with sausage, Rotel, and cream cheese and is crazy good!


    Extra Smooth Yet So Rich in Flavor!

    The Sausage Rotel Dip is so fluffy and mushy. I can easily see the bits of sausage in the dip long with the small pieces of diced Rotel tomatoes.
    This is the best dip there is!

     This creamy dip is oozing with cheesy goodness thanks to the combination of cream cheese and sausage. It’s a game night staple, but have you ever wondered how to make the homemade Sausage Rotel Dip the right way?

    With this easy recipe of only three ingredients, you’ll never make it any other way! My husband always hogs this dip. I am only able to steal some during the halftime show. It’s that good!

    I’m sure you believe your crackers and chips taste fine on their own, but a warm, cheesy dip will make your snacks taste much better! The thick Sausage Rotel dip has lots of flavor and keeps my guests happily munching as long as it lasts.

     Chips are definitely one of the favorite Super Bowl foods among many and they taste way better when there’s something to dip them into. The Sausage Rotel enhances their flavor and the flavor of anything you dip it into!

    When you dip the chip in and it goes to your mouth, it will spread apart inside, releasing the flavor of spice, cheese, and chili! Just heavenly!

    We are just days away from the one of the biggest football games of the year. Super bowl 50 is on Sunday and of course we all want our team to win.

    Score big with family and friends with the MVP menu of the year. I haven’t decided who I want to cheer for yet because I love Cam Newton and Peyton Manning, so I will be happy either way!


    What is Rotel?

    Rotel is a brand name for canned tomatoes and green chili peppers. Rotel was created by a small family in Texas known for their vine-ripened tomatoes and zesty flavors.

    I always buy myself a couple cans of Rotel whenever I go grocery shopping and store them all in my pantry. As of today, they have always had the same wonderful flavor. I always add Rotel to my queso dip, eggs, mac-n- cheese, and homemade hamburgers.

     Rotel is used in many recipes to complete many dishes. The key ingredient in Rotel is the savory tomato juice and their secret blend of spices.

    Fortunately, there are lots of varieties to choose from. There’s the original, mild, and hot flavor. Make sure you pick the right Rotel for your recipe!


    A Delicious Combination!

    The Sausages and Rotel are a delicious combination making our all- time-favorite cheese dip fluffy, creamy, and silky smooth!

    Rotel helped me achieve great consistency in many creamy recipes. The contrast between the smoky pepper and sweet tomato juice helps balance out the dip’s deep flavor.

    With only three ingredients, you’ll want to add this quick and easy appetizer to your next party menu. Each ingredient achieves a perfect taste in your mouth. The combination of flavors is designed to wow your pallets and add to the crunchiness of your snacks!

    Keep These in Mind When Making the Sausage Rotel Dip

    You must drain the the Rotel before using it in the recipe.

    It is important not overcook the sausages to preserve their taste.

    The key to this recipe is to keep stirring the whole time.

    Make sure to serve this creamy dip warm, so you better keep it in a crock pot.

    This Rotel dip is normally served with tortilla chips and crackers. However, you can use up some of the old bread you have by toasting them until they become crunchy.

    You can substitute the sausages with ground beef if that’s what you prefer.

    Use a Slow Cooker

    This is my favorite way to make the Sausage Rotel Dip. Making your dip in a slow cooker is always a good idea. It keeps everything warm, so the cream cheese doesn’t solidify – just give it a stir every so often. Make sure to stir occasionally until it’s melted and smooth.

    Go Green!

    Add your favorite vegetables to your dip. Don’t be shy! Experiment until you get the desired flavor. I like to add avocados, cilantro, beans, and fresh tomatoes. I sometimes add some celery and broccoli if I’m really in the mood!

    Switch it Up!

    Replace your cream cheese with a pound of diced Velveeta Cheese.

    If you’re not a sausage fan, add ground beef to make the dip to your liking.

    Pump Up the Flavor!

    I use tomatoes with garlic, oregano, and basil for an Italian twist! You can pump up the flavor by adding some garlic powder!

    If you desire a thicker dip, make sure to drain your Rotel. If not, then don’t. It’s completely up to you!

    Can I prepare Rotel dip ahead of time?

    You can absolutely do that! Then reheat it when you are ready to have it. Also, you can prepare all the ingredients and cook the meat only, then when you are ready you can cook them all and have it fresh.

    How can I reheat Sausage Rotel Dip?

    It is pretty easy. You can just place the leftovers on the stovetop on low heat.

    This is My All-Time-Favorite Condiment!

     used 2 blocks of  the Philadelphia cream cheese, 2 cans of Rotel, and 2 rolls of Tennessee Pride Sausage to make my Sausage Rotel dip. All placed on the counter.
    It’s a really simple and delicious dip!

    Easy Steps to Prep

    First, cook the sausages in a skillet until brown and drain the grease from meat.

    Then, combine all ingredients in a crock pot and cook on high heat until melted!

    Finally, serve with tortilla chips or crackers! And enjoy!
