    Happy Marvelous Monday!

Can you believe we are 2 weeks away from Memorial Day?! Memorial Day weekend is always the kick start for Summer. This makes it the perfect time for some Patriotic Fruit Kabobs!

Creating fun festive recipes to go along with your holiday menu adds fun to the event! These Patriotic Fruit Kabobs will be perfect for all of your summer patriotic holidays!

Easy And Fun Patriotic Fruit Kabobs!

Star shaped watermelon, marshmallows, strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries are arranged alternatingly on a kabob stick and placed on a square plate.
Aren’t they just too cute to eat?!

Why You’ll Love These Patriotic Fruit Kabobs

If you need a fun and festive treat, these fruit kabobs are ready to shake up any event! They are super easy to make, and can be turned into the perfect healthy appetizer! My family loves fruits, that’s why I make sure I have some fruit kabobs during cookouts, barbeques, or family picnics!

They are also great for celebrating holidays like the 4th of July! Kids love preparing these fruit kabobs! It makes them feel productive, and calls their inner chef to play! Oh! Since we mentioned 4th of July, one creative way of assembling these fruit kabobs is by creating the United States flag!

Use marshmallows and strawberries alternatingly to create the effect of white and red lines, then use the blueberries as stars.

Whichever way you decide to make them, these fruit kabobs are so pretty and will add color to your table!

A Fun Twist On This Treat

Feeling a little more patriotic? Try these delicious cute strawberry bites!

Get your strawberries, wash and hull them, then cut the bottom part of each one so it sits flat on the plate.

After that, drop some cream cheese (room temperature), icing sugar, and vanilla extract into an electric mixer, and beat at medium speed until light and fluffy.

Finally, pipe mini swirls of the cream cheese mixture on top of the strawberries, and top each one with a blueberry.

Here you have it, a quick appetizer that goes wonderfully on any menu, and adds charm to your holiday table!

    Tips and Tricks

First, you can get creative with this appetizer by using different fruits of the same color! For example, you can use bananas for the white part.

In addition, you can easily use this for a charcuterie board.

Also, these fruit kabobs are something that can be made ahead of time! So if you want to store them in the fridge, make sure you tightly wrap the fruit kabobs or put them in an air-tight container to prevent the marshmallows from getting hard.

In addition, for an extra kick of strawberry flavor, serve the fruit kabobs with strawberry cream cheese fruit dip.

Finally, when cut the watermelon too thin, or else it will break apart when assembling.
