The weekend is here! Yeah!! Can you believe it’s time to spring forward in time? I have the perfect easy meat loaf recipe for your Sunday Supper tomorrow.

Meat loaf is the perfect comfort food and easy to make. This recipe is inspired by one of my aunt’s that makes a delicious meatloaf. I have learned so much from the women in my family on both sides of the family. I am so thankful for all of the lessons and amazing recipes.

    Ingredients

    1. 2lbs of ground chuck or beef
    2. 1 envelope Lipton Onion Soup Mix
    3. ¾ cups of oats or dry bread crumbs
    4. 2 eggs
    5. 1 can of Hunt’s Meatloaf sauce
    6. I season my meat with various seasonings as well but this is optional

    Instructions

Preheat Oven to 350 F. Combine ground chuck, half the Hunt’s meatloaf sauce, the eggs, oats, Lipton onion soup mix, and season in a large bowl. Mix well until all ingredients are blended. Place in a glass loaf pan, pressing down to evenly distribute meat mixture in the pan.

Bake, uncovered, 45- minutes to 1 hour. Remove from oven and drain well. Pour the remaining sauce on top and bake for another 10 minutes. Allow to rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

    Happy Cooking!!

The meatloaf was so good the pan was empty before I could take a picture! I will be sure to update this post with the finished product.

I’ve never used Lipton in my meatloaf, but it sounds like a great idea!
