A Special Taste for a Special Lunch!

In school growing up, I often took my lunch because the cafeteria lunches weren’t all that great! I had a few things on my favorite list. I loved when we had Pizza Burger Day! So I decided to create my own version of them.

I think Friday is the perfect day to make fun food, and these pizza burgers fit the bill totally! You can really add and subtract ingredients from this recipe to add your own special twist. I hope this pizza burger recipe is a big hit in your house. Happy Cooking!

    What Is Pizza Burger?

If you are a fast food lover, then Pizza Burger is a fitting choice! It is not only a quick and delicious recipe, but it also combines the flavors of the top two fast foods consumed around the world. This stuffed pizza burger recipe is essentially made of meat, pizza sauce, and cheese.

These flavorful, juicy burgers topped with melted, exquisite cheese will be the go-to food for your kids. Each bite of Pizza Burger has a heavenly flavor, which makes your kids ask for more and more.

Burgers placed between two pizzas are known as homemade pizza burgers. How frighteningly insane does this sound? Whether you like pizza or burgers, you’ll find something to eat here.

The History of the Original Pizza Burger

After World War II was over in 1945, two childhood friends, Paul De Angelis and Father Russ McGregory, decided to go into the restaurant business. They purchased an old custard drive-in in Muskego, Wisconsin, and that was just the beginning.

The two friends looked for a way to increase the success of their work, and that’s how Pizza-Burger was born! The partners sold their popular sandwich all across the United States and parts of Canada. In 1953, the Pizza Burger became a national trademark!

What to Serve with Pizza Burgers?

There are so many yummy options to serve pizza burgers with, and they can be eaten on their own.

My favorite way to serve these pizza burger patties is with Caesar Pasta Salad. Another great choice is to serve with grilled corn or with Parmesan-garlic sweet potato fries. It can also be served with a classic potato salad.

    Tips for Yummy Pizza Burgers

Pizza Burgers Recipe is your kid’s correct choice for a school lunch! Quick and easy to make by following the simple steps and Tips of my recipe! Here are some beneficial tips that will help you make the best pizza burger recipe ever:

Good Meat: If you want to get perfect pizza burger patties, then use good-quality meat. It is preferable that the meat you use be fresh. In order to have a different taste, you can use breakfast sausage.

This reminds me of the pizza sub I sometimes order at Penn Station restaurant. This inspires me to try to make it at home. Not sure why I never thought of that. Thanks!
