A dazzling ice cream cocktail for you to try on a Friday night!

I am walking on clouds right now! The weekend is almost here, and I have just the right recipe in mind.

As you might have guessed by now, creating cocktails is my field of expertise. Therefore, I’m sharing with you today a fun ice cream cocktail recipe that only calls for two ingredients.

In fact, Sunday, July 19, is National Ice Cream Day, so I thought this is the perfect timing to make such a drink.

This dessert cocktail is perfect for entertaining! It can’t get any easier than 2 ingredients, making this cocktail is a total winner!

A Refreshing Drink Waiting for You to Enjoy Anytime of the Day

Featuring the necessary ingredients, you need for a great cocktail: ice cream, liqueur and glasses for serving.
    Let the preparations begin!

Facts to Know When Making Boozy Cocktails

Just like everything in the culinary world, there are rules that everyone should master and be familiar with. Hang on, I’ll take you on a quick tour to show you what I mean!

    Freezing Points

First of all, you should know the freezing point of your alcohol. This might look unrelated or unimportant; however, it makes all the difference.

You don’t want to end up with an icy slushy ice cream cocktail. Instead, you’re seeking that creamy soft texture, right?

Thus, bear in mind that the higher the alcohol levels, the lower the freezing point of ice cream.

It all comes down to this point!

    Ice Cream Cocktail Pairings

Ice cream cocktail recipes are the adult version of juices. Preparing one is similar to playing a game. In other terms, you have different ingredients that you can switch, substitute, and adjust.

Once the basics are covered, use the alcohol you want while maintaining the existing harmony between flavors!

    Why Making Ice Cream Cocktail

Perfect for Those with Sweet Tooth

Satisfy all your sweet cravings while enjoying a delightful refreshing cocktail.

    Easy and Simple

All you need is two ingredients: ice cream and alcohol. You can choose the flavor you like.

    Non-Alcoholic Ice Cream Cocktail Option

For those of you who don’t like alcohol, you will find non-alcoholic drinks on supermarkets shelves that are suitable for this recipe.

Same taste, but without the booziness.

    Blending Friendly

You can add all these ingredients to a blender. The perfect, most suitable trick you can use on a lazy day.

One button and your cocktail’s ready! It will literally take you less than 5 minutes.

    Frequently Asked Questions

What alcohol goes well with ice cream?

When it comes to drink and ice cream pairings, look for a drink that compliments the ice cream’s flavor.

What happens when you add alcohol to your ice cream?

Other than making you a bit tipsy, you’ll find it easier to scoop the ice cream.

Is it possible to make it in big batches?

What I love about this recipe is the fact that you can double, or even triple, the quantity. Thus, the more the guests, the bigger the quantity! Once you finish blending, you can scoop them and place them in separate glasses.
