How to Make Ice Cream Sandwich Dessert

    Step 1

Arrange a single layer of ice cream sandwiches across the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Cut the sandwiches if needed to fit the edges.

    Step 2

Spread half of the whipped topping evenly over the ice cream sandwiches.

    Step 3

Drizzle chocolate syrup and caramel syrup over the whipped topping.

Sprinkle with Heath toffee bits (or your favorite candy or cookie topping).

    Step 4

Add another layer of ice cream sandwiches.

Spread the remaining whipped topping evenly over the top.

    Step 5

Finish with more chocolate syrup, caramel syrup, and additional Heath bits.

    Step 6

Cover tightly and freeze for at least 4 hours, but overnight is even better.

    Slice and serve immediately.

Tips for the Best Ice Cream Sandwich Dessert

✔ Let the whipped topping thaw before spreading.

✔ Work quickly so the ice cream sandwiches don’t melt.

✔ Freeze overnight for cleaner slices.

✔ Use a sharp knife dipped in warm water for easy cutting.

✔ Keep frozen until ready to serve.

    Birthday Party Version

    Salted Caramel Version

Add extra caramel drizzle and a light sprinkle of flaky sea salt.

    Storage

Store covered in the freezer for up to 1 week.

Do not refrigerate, as the dessert will become too soft.
