Happy Holidays!! As of today, we are one week away from New Year’s Day!! I still have some items I’m preparing for the celebration for my Vision Board Party Ideas theme.
As a little girl I remember my church would come up with a theme for the new year! For example, “2008 will be Great” and such. As I became an adult, I kept the tradition going, coming up with a creative and positive themes for the new year.

I remember writing my first vision list on a piece of paper in 2009. At the time, I wrote a list of 5 things on a piece of paper that I desired that would manifest as a vision for my life. I love to tell the story because all of things on the list have happened except for one. This keeps my faith and hope. (HOPE= Having Only Positive Expectations)
I hosted my first vision board party in 2019 for the coming year of 2020. My theme was: I See Miracles.

Here are some of the tips I’d like to share with you to help make planning and implementing a vision board party easier and better.
- Pick a theme
- Pick a date
- Pick a location
- Pick a motivational speaker or inspirational speaker
- Make a guest list
- Set a budget
- Pick a menu
- Pick a signature mocktail (cocktail optional)
- Send out invitations that help set the tone for your event
- Gather your supplies (Board, scissors, magazines, glue, tape, ribbon, colorful markers, and any other creative craft supplies)
How do I Host a Vision Party?
Simply put, you send out creative invitations, written, typed, or evites. You share the theme, time, and place. Then, you write out a list of fun activities and types of favors you want to have at the party. You also make a menu of what items you’ll be serving
You then turn those lists into a list of items you need to be prepared and grab them. After that, it’s a matter of organizing and putting everything together for the big day! This can even be done virtually!
