Course Drinks

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup Orange Sherbert (about 2 small scoops)
  • 4 oz Sparkling Wine or Champagne (about half a champagne flute)

Instructions

  • Make sure your sparkling wine or champagne is ice-cold before serving for maximum fizz and flavor.
  • Place 1-2 small scoops of orange sherbet into a champagne flute.
  • Slowly pour your sparkling wine or champagne over the sherbet. It will foam up a bit.
  • Add a slice of orange, a strawberry, or a few fresh raspberries for a beautiful finishing touch.
  • These are best served right away while the sherbet is still frosty and bubbly.

Notes

If you're making a mocktail version, swap the wine for 4 oz sparkling cider, ginger ale, or Sprite.
For a stronger mimosa, use 5 oz of sparkling wine and 1 scoop of sherbet.
If making for a crowd, scale up the sherbet and wine accordingly, but prepare just before serving so it stays cold and frothy!
Chilled glasses, frozen sherbet, and cold champagne are the key to keeping your mimosa refreshing.
Don’t prepare too far in advance. The sherbet melts quickly, so make these just before serving.
A peach or raspberry sparkling wine adds another layer of fruity flavor.
