Strawberry Shortcake

Strawberry Shortcake made easy with box cake mix!

Ingredients
  

  • 1  1 Box cake mix Yellow or Butter
  • vegetable oil Follow Instructions on box
  • 4 Large Eggs
  • 1 pound Fresh Strawberries
  • 1    Cool whip 8 oz.
  • 1 12oz 1 container Strawberry gel 

Instructions
 

  • Bake Cake according to instructions on the cake mix box.
       
  • Next, Wash strawberries and cut them into small pieces. This is optional but you can add a few teaspoons of sugar to strawberries if desired.
  •   Add strawberries to gel and mix well.
  • Layer Slices of the cake, strawberries, cool whip, in a trifle bowl or dessert cups.
  • Last add cool whip, strawberries, or other toppings you want
