Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup oil
  • 1 16 ounces can coconut pecan frosting

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F, and spray the Bundt pan with Baker’s Joy or Pam Baking spray, or simply sprinkle flour all over it.
  • In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, water, vegetable oil, eggs, and frosting. Mix all ingredients well together with a cake mixer or your hands.
  • Pour the batter into the Bundt pan and bake for 45-50 minutes.
  • Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before removing.

Notes

  • Reduce the oil quantity to ½ cup or even ¾ cup if you don't like super moist cakes.
  • Grease your cake pan well. Pay extra attention to this step as its crucial for obtaining a solid one-piece cake.
  • Get creative and create a glaze with pecans.
  • Go an extra mile and toss the pecans in a flour bowl before adding them to the mixture so they don't sink and are evenly distributed.
  • Bring the ingredients to room temperature, especially eggs. This will allow the mixer not to overwork the batter.
  • The time may vary from 45 to 50 minutes.
