The Best Deviled Eggs Without Mayo

I absolutely love party food and what's a party without deviled eggs? Deviled eggs are a classic choice for event menus from baby showers to birthday parties and many more special occasions. This recipe is also perfect for a special breakfast.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 eggs large
  • 2 tablespoons sandwich spread
  • 1 tablespoon relish optional
  • pepper
  • sugar

Instructions
 

  • Place eggs in a large boiler and cover with cold water. Set the pan over medium-high heat and bring to a boil. Turn off heat and let sit for 5-10 minutes. Drain and rinse eggs under cold water, and peel them. 
  • Halve eggs lengthwise and scoop out yolks into a medium bowl. Mash yolks with the back of a fork until smooth. Then, add sandwich spread and relish. Season with a dash of salt, pepper, and sugar.
  • Spoon mixture into each egg. Garnish with chives or paprika.
