- 6-8 Russet Potatoes
- 1 stick butter melted
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 4 Roger Wood Smoked Sausage links
- 1 16 ounce Velveeta Cheese
- 2 cups shredded cheese
- Salt, Pepper, and Crushed Pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Wash and peel potatoes. Cut potatoes into quarter size slices. Boil until fork tender. You want them a little undercooked because they will cook more in the oven. Drain water from potatoes and pour melted butter over potatoes.
In a skillet, cook ground turkey and beef over medium heat until brown. Make sure you drain grease from meat.
Add sliced sausage in a skillet and stir frequently until brown. Cut Velveeta cheese into cubes.
In a baking dish, add a layer of potatoes, Velveeta cheese, ground meat and shredded cheese on top. Repeat this step until all ingredients are used.
Bake on 350 for 25-30 minutes or until cheese is melted.
You can season both ground turkey and beef with seasonings of your choice.
