Strawberry Shortcake with cake mix topped with a cool whip and finished off with a delicious fresh strawberry gel!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Box cake mix Yellow or Butter
  • 1 pound Strawberries
  • 1 tub Cool whip 8 oz.
  • 1 container Strawberry gel 12 oz.

Instructions
 

  • Bake cake according to instructions on the cake mix box.
  • Next, wash strawberries and cut them into small pieces. This is optional but you can add a few teaspoons of sugar to strawberries if desired.
  • Add strawberries to gel and mix well.
  • Layer slices of the cake, strawberries, cool whip, and then add the desired toppings.
