Notes

  • If your pecan cobbler is still runny or soupy, this means it is not done yet. So, keep it for extra minutes in the oven.
  • If your pecan cobbler bubbles over, do not worry. It is normal. Water evaporates quickly in the oven. With the ingredients, it gives bubbles that violently blow off the crust.
  • If your pecan cobbler was hard, this means it is over cooked. So, you have to pay attention to the cooking time. Another reason is that your oven cooks quickly. So, you need to check the cobbler midway. Keep an eye on it till it has the correct texture.
  • If the crust is not cooked, this means that the filling is too liquidy. You can out the cobbler back to the oven for extra minutes. Make sure you put is on the lower rack. This means that the uncooked part is closer to the heat source.
