    Happy Thankful Thursday!!

Can you believe we are officially one week away from Christmas Eve? Is your menu planned? Are you done shopping?

I have the perfect cookie recipe for Santa! My peanut butter chocolate chipper recipe is so good and easy to make. It will also make the perfect family activity for you and your family for Christmas Eve fun!

These cookies will also make the perfect gift for your family, friends, or even your neighbors!! Put them in a cute box or tin and you can spread Christmas cheer by hand delivering!

    Ingredients

1 cup of creamy or chunky peanut butter

1 cup of firmly packed light brown sugar

    1 large egg

    ¾ cup milk chocolate chips

    (Granulated sugar optional)

    1. Preheat oven to 350 F
    2. Combine peanut butter, brown sugar, and egg in a mixing bowl. Next, add chocolate chips
    3. Roll heaping tablespoons of dough into 1 ½ inch balls. Place dough balls about 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.
    4. Bake cookies in the middle of the oven until set, about 12 minutes; Let cookies stand on baking sheet for 2 minutes. Remove cookies with a spatula

Optional – Dip table fork into granulated sugar. Press sugar coated tines of fork in crisscross fashion onto each ball, flattening to ½ inch thickness. I have baked them without this step and they turn out great.
