January is national soup month and I thought it would be the perfect time to share this easy and yummy white chicken chili recipe!!
I just love how you can take 5 ingredients and make it into a meal so yummy and comforting. As we are all so busy and always looking for good and easy recipes I am happy to share this chili recipe and hope it is a winner for your family!
2 (15.5 ounce) cans Great Northern White Chili Beans (undrained)
1 (10 ounce) can diced tomatoes & green chilies (undrained)
2 cups of chicken broth
2 cups of cooked, shredded or diced chicken
1 (10.5 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
1-2 tablespoons diced jalapenos
Toppings: chopped cilantro, shredded cheese, tortilla strips, or sour cream
Prep Time – 15 minutes
Cook Time – 25 minutes
How Do You Make This Soup:
- In a large saucepan or Dutch oven combine beans, diced tomatoes, and chicken broth over medium heat.
- Stir in shredded chicken, cream of chicken, and jalapenos
- Bring to a boil, then cover and lower heat to simmer
- Serve immediately, garnished with suggested toppings if desired
