Happy Foodie Friday!!

I had the pleasure of being a part of the cooking stage for the Birmingham Home Show today and my easy Alfredo Sauce was a big hit. All of my guest enjoyed my pasta and my Strawberry White Chocolate Cake.

The sweetest highlight from my presentation was today when a young boy got in line to try my meal he enjoyed it so much he brought his mother back to taste it too. 🙂 That made my day!

I was so excited to learn how to make homemade Alfredo Sauce. It’s amazing how easy and delicious it is. I hope you enjoy it! Happy Cooking!

Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cup of butter ( 1 stick)
  2. 1 8 oz block of cream cheese
  3. 2 cups of heavy whipping cream
  4. 1 cup of Kraft Italian Five Cheese
  5. 1/2 cup of Mozzarella Cheese
  6. 1-2 teaspoons of garlic salt
  7. 1 teaspoon of Italian Seasoning

Instructions

Melt the butter in a skillet on low heat. After the butter is melted add the cream cheese and allow it to melt down too

Next add the heavy whipping cream slowly, continue to stir sauce on low heat. Next add your cheese to the sauce and continue to stir until you have a thick and creamy mixture

Last add your Garlic Salt and Italian Seasoning. Serve over warm pasta

Tips:

After making this sauce you will learn tips and tricks that you might want to add or take away; If you like a thin sauce add more whipping cream. If you want to make it more creamy add more cheese

Feel free to substitute the garlic for garlic powder or fresh garlic

Sprinkle with Cajun Seasoning or Red Crushed Pepper for a hint of spice
